Brett Conklin Hosts Housecall Pro Trades Thursday in Chicago

On October 1, 2026, our very own Brett Conklin hosted Housecall Pro Trades Thursday at Goose Island Barrel House in Chicago! We’re proud to see Brett representing Chimney Monkey and connecting with home service professionals from across the trades.

It was a chance to step away from the day-to-day routine, meet other people in the industry, and talk shop with people who understand the business. From work out in the field to everything happening behind the scenes, there’s plenty of common ground across home service companies.

With the Barrel House’s brick walls and stacked barrels as the backdrop, Brett led a presentation for the group. The photos capture a room of home service pros coming together for a day of learning, networking, and conversation.

One of the prompts on screen asked attendees to think about how rapid growth or a job finishing early can create a ripple effect in a business. It was a practical starting point for a conversation about how changes can affect the business beyond a single job.

An event like this gives people from different trades an opportunity to compare perspectives and hear how others approach the questions that come with running a home service business.
