Chimney Monkey is a sanity saver! They were recommended by a couple people. I have spent 2 years trying to resolve a big problem- either with the roof or with the chimney- in my old house. 4 people/companies have come out with honest intentions & thought they fixed it. Brad arrived on time, patiently listened to me recite the history, looked at all the relevant parts of the house and came up with a solution. He helped me prioritize what had to be done & considered costs. Not an upsell- the majority of the work has to be done by my HVAC guy!

The service was on time and done in a professional way. The service was complete and clean. All of our questions were answered and everything seems to be the way that we had hoped.

Brad was at a neighbors home & I asked him to come over & take a look at my fireplace & chimney which were long overdue fro a cleaning After a quick inspection, he suggested a cleaning & inspection. His scheduler called within the hour & we made an appointment for the next day. Miguel showed up on time & spent nearly 2 hours cleaning & inspecting. He took videos, explaining some age related damage & offered solutions. Very professional service. Highly recommended. & NOT a speck of dust/soot in the house 🙂

Chimney Monkey was quick to come give us a quote & scheduled work in a timely manner.
The team of 3 finished replacing our chimney crown in a day and a half. The office was easy to work with & responsive to phone calls.

We are mostly happy with the work they did. There were a few things that could have been done in a tidier manner (some concrete smears were left behind on our red brick & the metal flashing underneath the concrete is slightly uneven on 2 of the corners). This is our first chimney crown replacement, so I have no idea if these are normal things or not.

Update: I originally rated them 4/5 stars but changed the rating to 5/5. They were very quick to follow up about the bits we weren’t totally happy with. Brad came today to visually inspect the work & called me to explain what I was seeing. I’m satisfied with the service we received & would definitely use them again.
